🎸 LoConti to Headline Tunes at the Lagoons on Friday, July 26

Now in its fourth season, Tunes at the Lagoons returns to the Mentor Lagoons Marina Friday nights this summer, offering live music at the water’s edge.

Headlining the event on July 26, 2024, is LoConti, a band known for their distinctive sound and dynamic performances. With intricate guitar riffs, powerful drums, and raw, emotive vocals, LoConti has carved out a niche in the rock music scene. Their music explores themes of love, struggle, and triumph, creating an auditory experience that resonates deeply with fans. Whether performing in intimate venues or on grand stages, LoConti consistently delivers unforgettable live performances that leave audiences craving more. Their music is not just heard—it is felt, sparking a connection that transcends the ordinary. I’ve personally heard this band and was blown away by their music… top notch!

The 2024 schedule features two performances per month, showcasing popular local bands. Performances run from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with attendees able to enjoy food and refreshments from local food trucks, along with a selection of beers and wines for those 21 and over. Field seating is available, so bring a lawn chair or blanket. Admission and parking are free, thanks to the generosity of our sponsors.

🚨 Painesville Man Killed in Perry Motorcycle Accident

A tragic motorcycle accident in Lake County resulted in the death of a Painesville man on Saturday night. The incident occurred around 10:42 p.m. on Narrows Road, near the intersection with State Route 84 in the village of Perry.

The 45-year-old victim was riding a 1984 Honda Goldwing motorcycle southbound on Narrows Road when the vehicle suddenly veered off the side and overturned. He was ejected from the motorcycle and succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Authorities confirmed that the man was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. Preliminary investigations suggest that alcohol may have played a role in the crash. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the incident.

🚨13-Year-Old Treviana Sutton Missing After Fleeing Medical Facility

Treviana Sutton, 13, fled from a Willoughby medical facility on July 17. Last seen near Euclid Avenue, she is believed to be back in the Cleveland area. Willoughby police are seeking information on her whereabouts and can be contacted at 440-951-1234.

The Padres scored both runs in the second inning, with Jackson Merrill and Ha-Seong Kim crossing the plate.
