The excitement surrounding the NCAA Women’s Basketball Final Four in Cleveland is palpable, with two highly anticipated games set to captivate fans. On Friday, at 7:05 p.m., the action will kick off with No. 3 North Carolina State facing the formidable, undefeated No. 1 University of South Carolina. The excitement will continue as basketball phenom Caitlin Clark and the No. 1 Iowa Hawkeyes go head-to-head with Paige Bueckers and the No. 3 UConn Huskies at 9:30 p.m. at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
The winners of these semifinals will advance to the NCAA Championship game on Sunday at 3 p.m., a momentous occasion where the ultimate victor of the season will be decided.

👑 Lake County Fair Queen Contest 2024: Seeking Grace and Community Spirit!
The Lake County Fair is inviting young women aged 16 to 19 to compete for the title of 2024 Lake County Fair Queen. Entrants must be involved in 4-H, Junior Fair Board, or FFA and reside in Lake County. The contest emphasizes personality, poise, and community service over physical appearance. Applications are available at the Fair Office and online, with a deadline of May 9. The selection process concludes with the crowning on July 7, and the winner will compete in the Ohio State Fair Queen contest next January.

📰 Triple Tornado Touchdown: Ohio Grapples with Post-Storm Aftermath

The National Weather Service confirmed three tornadoes in Ohio following Tuesday's storms, with varying intensities and paths across different counties. An EF-1 tornado occurred near West Union, while an EF-0 tornado was documented in Gratiot, and another touched down near North Zanesville. The storms caused considerable damage, especially in Lawrence County, where the aftermath included fallen trees and flooding.

As a High-A affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians, this Minor League Baseball team is a key player in the Midwest League. Their season opener is scheduled against the West Michigan Whitecaps at Classic Auto Group Park, promising an exciting start to the year. Attendees, especially the first 500, are in for a treat, as they will receive a special 2024 Captains schedule poster. Adding to the excitement, 10 lucky fans among the early arrivals will be gifted posters autographed by the team.
