Between the Bun, a North Ridgeville restaurant, celebrated its first anniversary by raising $1,836 to clear all school lunch debts in the local school system. The initiative, led by owners John and Lacia Rutherford, demonstrated the restaurant's commitment to community well-being and ensured that students would not go hungry at school. The successful fundraiser highlighted the collective spirit and generosity of the North Ridgeville community.

🎺Celebrating Jazz Heritage: Lakeland Festival Marks Decades of Youth Inspiration - March 8-10th
Headlining this year's festival is none other than The 3D Jazz Trio! Fiercely swinging on purpose, with purpose, experience the Divas’ smooth and riveting sounds that the New York Times called “blistering hot!”
The Lakeland Jazz Festival, established by Charles M. Frank in 1973, stands as Ohio's oldest jazz festival. Originally initiated by the retired professor and music department coordinator, the festival has consistently focused on fostering a love for jazz among young musicians. To date, it has engaged over 25,000 middle and high school students from across Ohio, immersing them in the rich culture of this American music genre. The festival is structured into two main segments: educational programs for schools and performances by festival artists.
