💵 Taxpayers Brace for Impact: Smaller Refunds and New Credits Unveiled

Taxpayers are facing lower refunds this year, with the average refund falling to approximately $1,741, a near 13% decrease from the previous year. The IRS offers free filing for those with an adjusted gross income of $79,000 or less. TRIVIA ANSWER

Correct Answer: B) "Sheauga,"

Ah, the Grand River, or should we say, the mysterious "Sheauga," wearing its raccoon mask with a flicker of mischief in its currents. This name, echoing the tales of raccoons along its banks, reveals a past woven with the threads of Native American heritage, where every ripple tells a story.

The Grand River was once known as the Sheauga River, which is a variation of the Native American word “Geauga” meaning “raccoon.” The river has also been referred to as the Chereage River and Chocago River.
