This move aims to reduce operational costs and eliminate the need for lifeguards at the site. Mentor offers competitive pay for lifeguards and covers training expenses, looking forward to revitalizing community swimming and recreational activities.

🚨 Mentor Police Arrest Man for Multiple Felonies After Woman Screams for Help from Car

On February 3rd, the Mentor Police Department was alerted to a distressing situation involving a female passenger in a black sedan who was reportedly attempting to escape the vehicle while screaming for help. Despite the initial caller losing sight of the car before officers could intercept, the police swiftly utilized FLOCK camera technology to track down the sedan at the Extended Stay America hotel on Emerald Court.

🤔 Garfield's Farm: A Historical Blend of Family Learning, Agricultural Development, & a Presidential Run

James A. Garfield, despite his childhood disdain for farming, purchased the Dickey Farm in 1876 to teach his sons about agriculture. His own early ambitions of becoming a sailor were dashed after a near-drowning incident, leading him to pursue an education and a path that would eventually take him to the presidency. This story highlights Garfield's journey from poverty to the presidency, underscored by his belief in the value of hard work and education.

Garfield’s property served as both a family home and the headquarters for his 1880 presidential campaign. Following his assassination in 1881, the property underwent further modifications by his widow and eventually became a public museum managed by the Lake County Historical Society. Lawnfield stands as a monument to Garfield's legacy, housing artifacts of his life, his presidential campaign, and his untimely death.

TRIVIA ANSWER

Answer: B) Easter, based on the myth of Earth’s gravitational balance improving

Explanation: The practice of egg balancing is most commonly associated with Easter traditions, though it's more of a modern myth than an ancient tradition. The belief suggests that during the vernal equinox, some special gravitational effect allows eggs to be balanced more easily. Scientifically, there's no evidence to support the idea that gravitational changes on the equinox affect an egg’s ability to stand on its end. Egg balancing is possible on any day of the year with patience and a bit of skill, as the success of the trick lies more in the egg's bumpy surface than in any specific astronomical conditions.
