A public hearing for a variance request will be held by the Mentor Municipal Board of Building and Zoning Appeals on February 13, 2024. ⏰ Early Dismissal to Replace Late Start on Wednesdays at Mentor High School

Mentor High School will alter its Wednesday schedule to an early dismissal at 1:42 p.m. starting in March, moving away from the late start, to standardize morning routines and address issues of tardiness and behavioral infractions. The school will maintain standard transportation times, with accommodations for students awaiting buses, and designate quiet areas for those who choose to stay. Some CTE programs will not be affected by this change, and testing days will have a different schedule.
