A Dense Fog Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service in Cleveland for Northeast and Northcentral Ohio until noon Thursday due to visibility being reduced to a quarter of a mile or less. The NWS said pockets of heavy fog could create hazardous driving conditions by creating low visibility at times.

📉Mentor Tops Ohio's Large Cities with 2.2% Unemployment in November 2023
In November 2023, the City of Mentor reported a decrease in its unemployment rate to 2.2%, the lowest among Ohio cities with over 50,000 residents. Lake County also saw a reduction in unemployment to 2.3%. The State of Ohio's unemployment rate decreased to 3.0%, showing overall positive economic trends. These statistics were provided by the Ohio Department of Job & Family Services.

In 2023, Lake Erie College and Lakeland Community College in Lake County saw significant developments. Mentor led by 10 after the first quarter, then blew the game open by scoring 33 points in the second. Sullivan East's Corbin Laisure, who holds five Division I offers in football as a tight end and defensive end, had game highs of 36 points and 16 rebounds. He made 16 of 20 from the field. Mentor advances to the quarterfinals, where it will play George Wythe (Va.) at 4:30 p.m., Dec. 28.
