🦚 Family Reunites with Pet Peacock in Willoughby After Brief Escape

An update from a story we ran last week.. A Willoughby family has been reunited with their pet peacock, marking the end of a significant search. The bird was one of four peacocks that escaped earlier this month when their pen door was inadvertently left unlocked. Sadly, during their time on the loose, two of the peacocks were promptly located and returned, but a third met a tragic fate, being hit and killed by a car on Route 2. The search for the missing peacock captivated the local community, with many keeping an eye out for the distinctive bird. The family's relief and joy at having their pet back home cannot be overstated, bringing closure to this unexpected adventure.

🏃‍♂️March-Forward: How to Reboot Your Health Goals This March

As February bids us adieu, I find myself standing amidst the ruins of my New Year's resolutions, a testament to my over-enthusiastic but under-delivered promises. If you, like me, had grand visions of a "new year, new me" that somehow morphed into "new year, same old habits," fear not! The beauty of time is that every day offers a new start, and March might just be the perfect month for what I'd like to call "March-Forward." Here's the game plan:
1). Let's not dwell on the should-haves and could-haves.
2). Instead, let's regroup with a friend who actually enjoys those early morning jogs and might not judge us for panting like a parched poodle two minutes in.
3). It's time to Marie Kondo (professional organizer, duh?) our pantries, bidding farewell to the remnants of Valentine's chocolates and that emergency ice cream, replacing them with snacks that don't come with a side of regret.
4). And how about we pick up a book on wellness that doesn't double as a sleep aid? Let's lace up those sneakers, aim for a modest three workouts a week (because let's be honest, seven was a stretch), and remember…
5). Hydration is the essence of beauty—and maybe the secret to not feeling like a zombie at 3 p.m.

So here's to "March-Forward," because if there's one thing better than starting fresh in January, it's making a comeback in March.
